Legendary Los Angeles punk rock band formed in Van Nuys, CA, 1978. Along with X, Black Flag, and the Circle Jerks, the Samoans were part of the original wave of L.A. punk. The band produced two classic albums in “Inside My Brain” (1980) and “Back From Samoa” (1982) and two post -punk albums in “Yesterday Started Tomorrow” (1986) and “STP Not LSD” (1988).
